Getting Started

Productive in under 10 minutes.

Preview the six-step setup path for Early Access. Enrollment and public downloads are not open yet.

01

Check your Mac

OMEGA requires Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 14 Sonoma or higher. Intel Macs are not supported.

  • Apple menu → About This Mac → confirm Chip says Apple M1/M2/M3/M4
  • macOS version must be Sonoma (14.0) or later
  • 16 GB unified memory recommended; 8 GB minimum
  • 20 GB free disk space (the bundle is ~3 GB; the rest is for your data + optional MLX models)
Note: If your Mac doesn't meet these requirements, OMEGA will warn you on first launch and won't activate.
02

Enroll and verify your account

Complete account verification and choose a plan. A Stripe receipt confirms checkout, while Central separately reports license activation.

  • Verify your email and phone number
  • Accept the current product terms
  • Complete secure checkout or Core enrollment
  • Open your OMEGA account to confirm the current activation status
Note: Do not treat a payment receipt as activation. If status remains pending, keep the receipt and check your account again before contacting billing support.
03

Wait for the signed release

The public macOS artifact is a separate release gate and remains closed during verification.

  • Keep your account email current for release notices
  • Use only the official OMEGA account and release channels
  • Ignore third-party mirrors or unofficial installers
  • Install only after the signed and notarized build is announced
Note: Enrollment does not expose a private repository or dormant artifact URL. Release availability will be announced explicitly.
04

Choose your AI mode

OMEGA supports BYOK Cloud, Codex/Claude subscription-backed routing, Local MLX, or Hybrid mode that mixes them per task.

  • Open Settings → Models
  • Cloud BYOK: paste API keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, or OpenRouter. Keys live in macOS Keychain, never sent to OMEGA.
  • Subscriptions: connect Codex Subscription or Claude Subscription so eligible work can use the plan you already pay for.
  • Local MLX: pick a bundled model or download one from Hugging Face. Runs on-device for supported work on Apple Silicon.
  • Hybrid: assign different models to ULTRA_LIGHT, LIGHT, MEDIUM, HEAVY tier slots. Cheap turns stay cheap.
Note: Full air-gap deployment and outbound egress lockdown are Enterprise-only. Standard plans can still use local models to avoid cloud model calls for supported work.
05

Run your first task

Open the chat panel and type a goal. OMEGA turns it into clear work for the right agents, tools, and models, then delivers the result.

  • Try: "Summarize the documents in ~/Downloads/ and tell me which ones are time-sensitive."
  • OMEGA will ask for permission to read the folder: approve once or always
  • Watch progress in the right panel
  • Results appear inline; the full action journal is at the bottom
Note: Agents only act on what you authorize. You can revoke any per-app or always-allow permission at Settings → Permissions.
06

Build an automation (optional)

Drag-and-drop nodes to automate recurring tasks. 56+ stock nodes, plus custom nodes you describe in plain English.

  • Open Automations → New Automation
  • Try: "Every weekday at 8am, summarize my unread email and post it to my journal note."
  • OMEGA generates a draft automation from the prompt
  • Edit nodes visually, then click Run or Schedule
  • Automations are exportable as portable YAML recipes
Note: The Automation Engine has its own DAG executor with retry, parallel branches, error handling, and human approval gates.
