Trial & Refund Policy

The low-cost $7.00 trial is the intended way to evaluate Pro before committing to the $19.99/month subscription. You get full Pro access for 7 days. If Pro is not for you, cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged the monthly fee. If you do not cancel, the subscription begins automatically at $19.99/month.

This policy is summarized in plain English here. The binding legal terms live in your applicable agreement: Lifetime License Agreement §7 or Subscription License Agreement §7.

At checkout, new OMEGA Pro subscribers choose between subscribing directly at $19.99/month and starting with a $7.00 trial for 7 days. The trial:

• Charges $7.00 today for 7 days of full Pro access.
• Automatically converts to the $19.99/month Pro subscription when the 7 days end, unless you cancel during the trial. This auto-conversion is disclosed here and at checkout.
• Can be canceled anytime during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged the $19.99 monthly fee; you keep Pro access through the end of the 7-day trial you paid for.
• Charges the OMEGA subscription fee only. It does not include model or API spend; under BYOK you pay your providers directly, and OMEGA never receives that money.

You can cancel your Pro trial or subscription at any time, 24/7, from /account → Subscription, or by contacting the billing team. When you cancel:

• Canceling during the trial stops the automatic conversion to the $19.99/month subscription. You keep Pro access through the end of the paid trial period.
• Canceling a monthly subscription stops future renewals. You keep access through the end of the current paid period, and it does not auto-renew after that.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; it does not trigger a refund of that period.
• When cancellation takes effect, your account downgrades to the free Core tier (1 device, 1 user, local models, no card). You keep OMEGA, your data, and local models; paid capabilities stop; you can resubscribe anytime.

OMEGA does not offer refunds, partial refunds, credits, or pro-rated returns. Specifically, no refund is owed for:

• The $7.00 trial charge, whether or not you use Pro during the trial.
• Any monthly subscription charge, including the first month after the trial converts and every renewal after that. To avoid the next charge, cancel before it bills; cancellation is single-click and available 24/7 in /account → Subscription.
• The unused portion of a paid period after cancellation. You retain full access through the end of the period you have paid for.
• Failure to use the Software during a paid period.
• Additional seats or plan add-ons on Team subscriptions.
• One-time Lifetime purchases, which are final upon checkout.
• Model or API spend incurred with third-party providers under your BYOK keys or subscription-backed accounts; those are your costs, not OMEGA's.

The $7.00 trial applies to Pro only. Team bills per seat monthly (or annual) at its stated rate from the first charge.

• Team is a per-seat subscription tier (2–49 seats, self-selected at checkout) with shared workspaces. It carries no trial and no refunds unless the checkout page says otherwise.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no trial. It is final and non-refundable upon completion of checkout.

Because the Lifetime License is a substantial, one-time purchase, we recommend evaluating OMEGA on Pro first via the $7.00 7-day trial to verify OMEGA works on your hardware, supports your workflows, and meets your performance expectations before committing to Lifetime. The Lifetime License gives you perpetual access to OMEGA, including all updates while OMEGA is actively developed, but it is non-refundable once purchased.

Specifically, no refund is owed on a Lifetime purchase for any of the following:

• Change of mind or buyer’s remorse after checkout
• Hardware incompatibility you did not verify before purchase (Apple Silicon required, macOS 13+ required; verify in About This Mac)
• Loss of access to BYOK API providers, supported subscription-backed runtimes, or changes to those providers’ pricing
• Charges incurred with third-party AI providers under your BYOK keys or subscription-backed accounts (those are your costs, not ours)
• OMEGA’s discontinuation, sunset, or modification of any specific feature after your purchase
• OMEGA’s release of a successor product (Lifetime License is for the current product line as it evolves)
• Compatibility breakage caused by future macOS versions or third-party API changes
• Account suspension for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction. Our no-refund policy applies to the fullest extent permitted by law and does not override any right the law grants you that cannot be waived.

• If you are an EU or UK consumer, you retain a 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and UK equivalent) for digital products, subject to the conditions and waivers set out in your License Agreement.
• Other jurisdictions (Quebec, Australia, certain US states) may grant additional non-waivable rights; those continue to apply.
• Where a mandatory statutory right grants you a refund that this policy does not, the statutory right controls.

If you believe a non-waivable right entitles you to a refund, contact the billing team with your jurisdiction and the specific statutory basis. We comply with all applicable mandatory law.

Customers who initiate chargebacks in violation of the License Agreement may have their license terminated, future Subscriptions banned, and the disputed amount pursued through arbitration, along with reasonable attorneys’ fees and recovery costs.
