Effective: July 8, 2026Last updated: July 19, 2026
Current Version
- 2026-07-21.1: Registration now includes SMS phone verification where required (Terms 4.1 and 4.3: real mobile lines only, one account per verified number), with Twilio disclosed in the Privacy Policy, the security subprocessor list, and the DPA, including the post-deletion anti-abuse number blocklist. Cancellation now converts accounts to the free Core tier at the end of the billing period (Terms 5.6). Terms 14.2 wind-down clause now states that all charges remain final. Checkout now offers an explicit trial-or-subscribe choice on Pro, reflected in Terms 5.2, the Subscription License, and the Refund Policy. Added Acceptable Use 7.5 (security-testing and Pen Scan authorization).
- 2026-07-19.1: Moved to Early Access pricing. Retired the standalone Startup tier (its multi-seat use case is now covered by per-seat Team, 2–49 seats self-selected at checkout). Set subscription pricing to Pro at a flat $19.99/month (1 seat) and Team at $19.99 per seat/month, removed the previously planned mid-decade Pro price ramp, added annual billing (~2 months free) on Pro and Team, set Enterprise to 50+ seats, and renamed the Pro/Team/Lifetime tiers to "Early Access." Updated Terms, Subscription License, Refund Policy, pricing page, checkout plan picker, FAQ, and help articles to match.
- 2026-07-12.1: Opened Startup and Team subscriptions for self-serve checkout (shared workspaces live). Updated Terms 5.2, Subscription License 4/5.1, Refund Policy (Startup, Team, and Lifetime), pricing page, checkout plan picker, FAQ, and help articles to remove the planned-2027 gating language. No pricing changes.
- 2026-07-08.1: Added checkout legal evidence requirements, diagnostic-upload notice, provider-transfer disclosures, DMCA designated-agent block, consumer-rights page, DPA summary, incident response / backup policy, accessibility statement, support escalation templates, and explicit legal review checklist.
- 2026-07-07.1: Added Subscription License, Lifetime License, DMCA/Copyright Policy, Third-Party and Model Notices, expanded refund/no-refund language, Pen Scan authorization, AI output/IP disclaimers, and 18+ account gate.
Review Process
- Every material legal text change receives a new version and effective date.
- Checkout-required documents are hashed and stored in the shared legal document registry.
- Central stores document versions, source hashes, affirmations, plan context, timestamp, IP address, user agent, account ID, and Stripe checkout session ID where applicable.
- Material changes affecting existing users require customer notice before enforcement when required by law or contract.
Pricing and Plan Changes
- Confirm marketing pricing, Central plan enforcement, Stripe price IDs, checkout disclosures, refund policy, Subscription License, and Lifetime License all match.
- Confirm seat/device limits match marketing copy, Central entitlement, native app UI, and support docs.
- Confirm trial price, trial length, renewal amount, renewal date presentation, cancellation method, and no-refund language are visible before payment.
- Confirm legal acceptance schema and required checkout affirmations include the correct plan-specific agreement.
- Run pricing, checkout, legal document, Central, and marketing build tests before release.
